Social Media Summer Internship - Small Business Partners

Welcome to Tech Cadre – Our Social Media Internship Program for Monterey County Small Employers!

Small businesses can harness the power of social media to increase brand awareness, introduce yourself to new and prospective customers, engage with your communities, and advertise your products and services!  The Monterey County Workforce Development Board is currently seeking Small Business Partners open to hosting an 8-week internship for the summer of 2023 from June 26-August 18. These summer interns will work with your company to establish or enhance your business marketing through digital advertising!

What’s in it for you?

  • A part-time marketing intern, vetted and trained by MCWDB on digital marketing, communication, and leadership skills, assigned to help enhance your business’ marketing efforts through digital marketing

All applicants should be aware that as an Employer Partner, you'll be connected to qualified, vetted, and trained social media and digital marketing interns for the summer of 2022. We also work with a number of partners to fund your intern as to not add any financial burden to you. Please note that the Monterey County Workforce Development Board will also have their own requirements in place in order to receive access to their funding and resources, and your ability to participate is contingent on meeting these requirements and completing all necessary paperwork prior to getting started with Tech Cadre.
