The Monterey County Workforce Development Board is rolling out its partnership with the California Employers Association (CEA) Human Resources (HR) Hotline for employers in Monterey County. 

Program Overview

The Monterey County Workforce Development Board is rolling out its partnership with the California Employers Association (CEA) Human Resources (HR) Hotline for employers in Monterey County. The HR Hotline will provide employers in Monterey County with:

  • A dedicated number for Monterey County Employers from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to answer basic human resource questions for business owners such as:
    • Wrongful Terminations
    • Harassment
    • Wage and Hour Claims
  • Electronic monthly newsletter and a weekly email blast with valuable updates that summarize timely employment-related developments impacting employers­–this is especially important during COVID-19.
  • The Hotline will include a DEDICATED toll-free phone line 1-888-217-6899 with Unlimited Phone calls with an HR Expert – ability to ask an HR Expert what to do when your employee doesn’t come back to work, etc.
  • The California Employers Associations will work with the MCWDB to provide webinars for up to 250 attendees that center around policies and procedures, harassment, etc.
  • Two on-site Employer Symposiums yearly.
