Salary:
Range $17.72 – $18.58
Job Responsibility
Perform daily warm-up exercises and directs the work of the crew.
Verify with Ranch Manager which ranch activities are to be performed in different areas of the ranch each day.
Verify with Ranch Foreman and Crew Leader on whether help is needed with any activities.
Check the irrigation system and determine the amount and the time it should be watered.
Connect pipes by tightening manual links.
Align pipes in a lined order, checking the packaging, pigeons and caps.
Verify that irrigation systems are implemented correctly.
Monitor and maintain the system and makes necessary repairs.
Apply fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides to the crops.
Maintain clean irrigation ditches.
Fix cracks found in hoses or pipes.
Support other ranch employees, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
