We are seeking a Communications Coordinator with a dynamic hospitality driven attitude to join our administrative team.

For nearly 100 years Monterey Peninsula Country Club has catered to a diverse Membership of more than 1,100 Members and more than 250 employees. Our employees are our key to success and overwhelming member satisfaction.

 

As a Communications Coordinator at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, we will ask you to:

Provide overall administrative support on all communication efforts
Work closely and productively with all departments to gather pertinent information and understand timing of all projects and ensure cohesive messaging on all communications
Collaborate, contribute, develop, and execute communications through a variety of channels
Support staff on communication pieces by performing technical writing and editing functions
Attend brainstorming and communication strategy meetings as required
Provide editorial content and coverage in support of special events, programs, and activities at the Club
Assist with coordinating projects from point of request through to completion; ensure timely delivery via tracking and monitoring of status of all projects
Source, upload, and organize the Club’s photo and video library
Provide staff communications support as needed, including photography and video
Attend Club events to capture photos and videos for use in communications
Perform light photo and video editing as needed
Assist with Weekly Member Communication content and editing
Assist with MPCC Quarterly content and editing
Support day-to-day website and email activities
Provide stats, usage, and open rate reports as requested

Qualifications
What we will need from you:

Strong computer skills/literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe, Photoshop, Outlook, PowerPoint, and knowledge of graphic design for flyer creation
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
Ability to perform image archiving and cataloging
Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and problem-solve to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and possess a self-motivation work style in the accomplishment of a wide variety of duties
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule with holiday, weekday, and weekend availability

Valid work authorization for the United States
