Full Time: 100% FTE, 40 hours per week

JOB OVERVIEW

The Client Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the client cycle for bizzNEST. They will serve as the main operator for the bizzNEST CRM and create reports on bizzNEST business and intern professional development KPIs. They will support interns in learning and operating the client cycle.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client and Project Cycle Management (40%-50%)

Evaluate incoming project leads from prospective, new, and returning clients and work with project managers to determine project acceptance or denial-and-referral.
Oversee the client cycle, from lead generation through project completion and invoicing.
Meet with clients, take detailed service briefs and identify the specific project requirements.
Identify and communicate client needs to bizzNEST managers.
Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts with concrete deliverables, costs, timelines and terms for clients.
Serve as the primary bridge between clients and managers for the duration of engagements, ensuring the scope of client project work is mutually understood, agreed upon, coordinated, and delivered on time and to the correct standard of quality.
Troubleshoot any problems with project work and delivery.
Document client change orders and requests for project revisions and confirm execution of orders and completion of revisions to agreed-upon specifications.
Prepare and send billing invoices to clients, follow up with both clients and Digital NEST accounting staff to facilitate timely payment and confirm that payment.
Gather client feedback at the end of projects and communicate that feedback to appropriate bizzNEST staff.
Ensure that current and past clients, and rejected project leads continue to be cultivated as future clients or donors.
Attend meetups, conferences, and networking events to generate new project leads and pathways for career track jobs for member consultants.
Cultivate new relationships with potential clients and community partners and maintain positive relationships on an ongoing basis.
Work as part of the bizzNEST team to meet annual revenue goals.
Department-Level Administration (5%-15%)

Serve as the main operator of bizzNEST’s customer relationship management (CRM) system; keep CRM data current.
Generate monthly bizzNEST reports; i.e. quarterly reports, project reports, lead generation reports, revenue goal reports, intern progress reports, etc.
Create and maintain comprehensive bizzNEST program documentation such as onboarding materials, CRM training manuals, and any other documentation needed.
Collaborate with bizzNEST Senior Manager in the creation of reports for the Digital NEST communications team to inform stakeholders about completed project work and other bizzNEST “news of interest.”
Complete other administrative tasks appropriate to this position, as assigned.
General Member Consultant Performance and Professional Development (10%-20%)

Support project managers in ensuring client coordinator interns use of the CRM is competent and timely.
Provide technical support and quality assurance to bizzNEST client coordinator interns on the client management cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

Position-Specific Qualifications

At least 1 years of professional project management experience
At least 1 years of professional experience working directly with business services clients, or client-facing work in a related field.
High level of focus and efficient productivity

Candidates must have a valid CA driver’s license, pass a background check, and be able to travel and work evenings or weekends occasionally, or as needed.
Maintain dexterity and coordination, sufficient to perform essential functions
Ability to perform administrative and computer-based tasks for up to 4.5 hours at a time
Ability to be mobile (including, but not limited to walking, bending, squatting, crouching, twisting, kneeling, reaching, etc.)
Ability to lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 35 pounds as needed

PREFERRED-BUT-NOT-REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Conversational or fluent in spoken Spanish and/or fluent in written Spanish
