Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Mechanical setup and adjustment to manufacturing equipment to change product size and optimize equipment performance.
– Troubleshooting, repair and rebuilding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic parts and subassemblies as required to efficiently maintain production floor capacity and capabilities.
– Complete preventive maintenance tasks on a defined schedule
– Provide appropriate communications with production floor staff on machine condition, effective setup and run conditions and repair status; work with plant leaders on equipment production schedules
– Interact with CMMS in documenting work orders, parts inventory, and PM schedules in maintaining company’s Reliability Program

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Three years experience as a mechanic in an industrial environment
2. Educational background including associates degree, trade school or apprenticeship in maintenance highly considered, extensive experience in lieu of education also recognized.
3. Proficiency with computers to interact with plant’s CMMS.
4. Experience in TPM, Lean or other continuous improvement methodology preferred.
