PetsVet is currently looking for Full-Time Veterinary Receptionistto join our state of the art, AAHA approved Veterinary Hospital.
We are looking for friendly, motivated, professionals who work well with fellow team members in a fast-paced environment.

LOCATION: PetsVet in Gilroy, CA
THE POSITION: Veterinary Receptionist (Full-Time)
Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times.
Educate clients about Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs, any diagnosis or treatment, hospital services and other issues.
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Analyzes provided information and creates reports as needed.
Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Initiative – shows willingness and aptitude to take appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems; presents options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures. Takes on additional responsibility when both big and small tasks need to be done
Cooperativeness – Willing to work with others, collaborating and compromising where necessary; promptly share relevant information with others
Flexibility – Is open to changing situations and opportunities and is willing to perform all tasks assigned
Tolerance for Stress / Resiliency – Maintains a positive ‘can do’ outlook, rebounds quickly from frustrations and unpleasantness, and maintains composure and friendly demeanor while dealing with stressful situations
Flexible: Shift starts as early as 9 am and ends as late as 8 pm
Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation required
**One year related experience preferred.
**Wages for this position is dependent on experience and education.
