MSJ provides a comprehensive array of musculoskeletal and neurosurgical care in the Monterey and Salinas regions of California. We are a multi-specialty private medical group that is committed to providing outstanding service to our surrounding communities. We consistently strive for excellence and provide the highest quality of care possible, with compassion for the patient and the patient’s family always front and center.

Our staff is dedicated to treating each patient as a highly valued individual worthy of our best in personalized service. Without the quality work they do, we would fail. If you love working hard, learning on a daily basis, improving your skillset, and caring deeply for patients, then you will love being part of our truly collaborative team!

In this entry-level customer service position, you play a critical role in providing care to our patients by ensuring they are scheduled in a timely manner with their physician. After checking in patients, you obtain insurance authorizations and verify their coverage. You ensure all required radiology tests are received in the office prior to a patient’s scheduled appointment and all other required documentation is available in the patient’s chart.

By maintaining organization, you effectively communicate patient messages to each physician and ensure the proper handling of voicemail, incoming faxes, written messages, and referrals to meet the needs of each patient in a timely manner. You also maintain professional relationships and communication with physicians, co-workers, contractors, and outside facilities. By following established safety procedures, you use all equipment and materials in a safe and acceptable manner.
