We are seeking an experienced bartender with a dynamic hospitality driven attitude to join our food & beverage team.
For nearly 100 years Monterey Peninsula Country Club has catered to a diverse Membership of more than 1,100 Members and more than 250 employees. Our employees are our key to success and overwhelming member satisfaction.
As a bartender at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, we will ask you to:
- Ensure prompt, cordial and accurate service of liquor, wine, and other drinks at designated venue.
- Ensure that Members and guests obtain desired drinks
- Ensure that the bar provides Members and guests a pleasant, clean and comfortable environment for socialization
- Provide for proper handling of receipts generated at the bar
- Assist in room set-up
- Stock and clean Clubhouse bars
- Ensure all services to Members are provided in a highly professional and efficient manner with strong attention to detail

The wage range for this position is $22 – $25 per hour. MPCC is a non-tipping facility.
Qualifications
What we will need from you:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Working knowledge of, or the ability to learn, point-of-sale computer systems.
- A great attitude and commitment to providing amazing hospitality.
- The ability to multitask, produce accurate work, be flexible and have fun.
- Commitment to embrace our Core Values of Professionalism, Teamwork, Mutual Respect and Accountability
- Valid work authorization for the United States
- One to two years related experience.
- Private club, resort and/or hospitality experience preferred.
