Full Job Description
Job Mission:
The Administrative Assistant will help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the department. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Essential Functions:

Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
Will be responsible for data entry
Support the department by making calls to vendors
Will retrieve data reports
Assist with invoicing
Read and reply to emails on a timely basis
Perform receptionist duties when needed
Required Education, Skills and Experience:

High school or equivalent in experience
At least 2 years of administrative office support experience
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft or Google Suite, especially excel or sheets
Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Precision, accuracy and ability to perform consistently to ensure accurate results
Reliable and consistent attendance
Team player attitude with a willingness to learn
Ability to work with minimum supervision to complete daily tasks on time and with high accuracy
Physical Demands:
Requires repetitive movements with hands and fingers to type, feel, write, and move materials
Requires prolonged sitting and standing, with occasional walking
Must be able to lift 40 lbs daily.
This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, bending, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing and using small hand tools.
This position could be exposed to loud noises, frequent phone conversations, and requires average to above-average visual acuity and hearing
