About the Position: This position is with the US Army Installation Management Command, USAG, Fort Hunter Liggett, Directorate of Public Works, Engineering Division, Fort Hunter Liggett, CA.
We are located on the Central Coast of California between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The nearest towns to Fort Hunter Liggett are King City 26 miles north and Paso Robles 50 miles south. We are located in a rural area so a vehicle is a must; bus, car and van pools are available from select locations.

Salary:
$115,928 – $150,703 per year

Duties:

  • Prepare contract documents and records for negotiation.
  • Conduct negotiations with contractors regarding time of work performance; advising on the selection of materials and construction methods.
  • Influence, motivate, and mentor staff engaged in engineering activities.
  • Coordinate with design engineers, architects and contractors to discuss problems and provide technical guidance to find solution.
  • Apply multi-disciplined engineering to plan, draw, review, and design data for new construction, repair projects, and contract modifications.
  • Direct major program segment with significant resources, providing technical advisories to contractors.
