The Monterey County, Information Technology Department (ITD) consists of four (4) operational Divisions: Administration; Applications & Customer Support; Infrastructure & Operations; and Information Security. ITD resources are operated and maintained in a manner that supports high availability for utilization and minimizes the risk of business interruption. The ITD, Administration Division seeks a seasoned IT Project Management professional to plan, organize, communicate, and manage a variety of IT projects to meet customer expectations within agreed-upon time, within budget, and with measurable business quality and stakeholder benefits.
The Eligible List established by this recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies on a regular full-time, part-time, or temporary basis.
This classification is part of a flexible series. Incumbents appointed at the lower level of the career series may be promoted up to the higher level of the career series subject to their meeting the employment standards for the higher class and a recommendation for their promotion by the appointing authority.
