Regional Manager

Scope of Position:

The Lieutenant serves as a Regional Manager and is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations for CSA in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. The Lieutenant manages Sergeants within the region and is a manager for Corporals and officers. Lieutenants implement security policies, procedures and ensure that the environment in their region is safe for employees, clients, and vendors. Lieutenants are required to hire new employees, provide training, review all employee disciplinary actions, make termination recommendations, and delegate tasks as needed. Manage budgets, monitor employee schedules, staffing levels, overtime expenditures, equipment, and uniform needs. Completes Sergeant’s performance evaluation reports.

Overview of Duties and Responsibilities

This position REQUIRES a minimum of 4 years of supervisory/management experience. Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience is preferred. Applicants that do not meet the indicated experience will not be considered.

Must have knowledge of Bureau of Security and Investigative Services regulations that pertain to Private Patrol Operators and Security Guards as well as company policies and procedures
Must be able to conduct risk assessments for sites of current and prospective clients
Responsible for the proper execution of policies described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Employee Handbook
Provides training to new Sergeants and monitors work performance through their evaluation period
Carries out supervisory/managerial responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Chair of interview panel, conduct new employee orientation, train employees, recognizes outstanding actions, review disciplinary actions, address complaints, and resolve problems
Maintains a professional image ensuring the company’s reputation is not compromised
Maintains regular, consistent attendance record
Maintain a positive and professional rapport with clients and their employees
Interacts with local law enforcement agencies as required
Will have a working knowledge of eHub, Silvertrac, Paychex programs, MS Office
Attends, and satisfactorily completes, all required training as assigned and required
Responsible for all vehicles in the region
Conducts fact finding information gathering and approved investigations
Any other duties may be assigned as necessary
Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.

This includes having:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional professional acumen
Strong leadership skills
Knowledge of security environments and hazards
Excellent interpersonal skills
Computer use and familiarity with Microsoft Office (preferred)
Able to respond to urgent matters, emergencies, or client’s needs on a 24/7 status
Pre employment drug and alcohol screening.
Physical Requirements

Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling
Frequent reaching, grasping, and typing
Continuous physical effort that requires prolonged periods of walking, standing
Occasional sitting or running, as needed
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Education and Certification Requirements

Possession of a college degree preferred but not required
Possession of current BSIS issued Guard Card certification
Possession of, or ability to obtain Exposed Firearm Permit within 6 months of employment preferred
Possession of a valid Driver’s License with clean DMV record
Possession of a Taser, baton, OC, handcuff, and CPR (preferred)

Must have open availability to work any days and shifts as needed
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
Employment is conditioned on successful completion of an extensive background check
If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
