The prep cook is responsible for preparing food to the exact chef’s specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in our culinary team, contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

• Prepare food for service
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the staff
• Answer, report, and follow the executive chef’s instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

• 2+ years of proven cooking experience desired but not required
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
• Creative Problem-solving
• Adaptable/Flexible
• Detail Oriented
• Reliable
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform various motor skills such as lifting (50+ lbs.),
reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, squatting, and grasping
• Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate a sense of urgency
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Food Handler certification
