Fight Hunger with Green Cadre!

Helping Feed Monterey County | Inspiring Healthy Eating and Healthier Living

Help Feed Monterey County and Get Paid!

Join the Green Cadre program and get paid while helping your community by working on projects that address the food needs of at-risk Monterey County residents.

The Green Cadre program works with young adults who are unemployed, out of school, and looking for an opportunity to advance critical projects in our community to help address hunger, learn key job skills, and earn a living wage.

Green Cadre participants:

Ages 18-24
Participate from October 2 – December 1, 2023
32 hours per week
$18 per hour!

Green Cadre’s projects include:

Community gardens
Food distribution
Analyzing and identifying Monterey County food deserts
Identifying solutions for food waste
Other projects that address healthy eating and healthier living

Required Orientation Session

All applicants must attend a scheduled orientation session to be considered for the program. You will be notified via email of orientation details (i.e., times, location, etc.) after you submit your application.
