Partners & Community Links

The Monterey County Workforce Development Board (WDB) oversees the America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM located in Salinas, Marina, and Greenfield and maintains service agreements with local partners throughout Monterey County. Four of the WDB’s partners are the major stakeholders of the America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM delivery system and are co-located at the Salinas comprehensive Job Center. They include the Monterey County Economic Development Department – Office for Employment Training (OET), Employment Development Department (EDD), Department of Rehabilitation, and the Monterey County Department of Social Services (DSS) - California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) Employment Services (CWES).

In addition to the four co-located partners of the America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM, a number of participating partner agencies also provide regular or occasional applicable career services at their affiliate office locations.

Together, these partners have improved the lives of over 5,000 individuals throughout Monterey County per year through the America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM delivery system and affiliate locations.
