Workforce Development Board Website Design Wins International Award

Salinas, CA – The Website designed for the Monterey County Workforce Development Board (WDB) by TMDCreative was selected by the International Academy of the Visual Arts today as a recipient of the W3 award for outstanding Website. The winners of this prestigious award were selected from nearly 3,000 entries. The award honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites.

"The collaboration between our WDB staff and TMDCreative proved to be an amazing experience in the development of the Monterey County Workforce Development Board's website. TMDCreative's design team is extraordinarily creative, professional and responsive to customer needs. The Monterey County WDB is proud of its Website knowing we now have the opportunity to communicate effectively to thousands of people with information for jobseekers, individuals and, employers about Monterey County workforce training and benefit opportunities", stated Marleen Esquerra, Management Analyst of the Monterey County WDB.

The W3 is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms. IAVA members include executives from organizations such as Conde Nast, Coach, Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, Fry Hammond Barr, HBO, Monster.com, MTV, Polo Ralph Lauren, Sotheby's Institute of Art, Victoria Secret, Wired, Yahoo! and many others.
